Be fair: AI is not the villain

Clues are not proof. Computers can help, and people can fool you too.

Clue Club never tells you "this was written by AI" or "this is fake." That is on purpose. No tool can know that for sure, and tools that claim to are often wrong.

AI writing tools can be great helpers. They can explain hard words, help you brainstorm, or fix spelling. Using them is not cheating when a grown-up says it is okay.

People wrote misinformation long before computers did. A human can write "SHOCKING!!!" too. The clues are about how something is written, not who wrote it.

Sometimes a true story will light up a clue or two. Sometimes a made-up one will have none. That is why the last step is always the same.

Detective move

Every check ends the same way: find a second source, or ask a grown-up. Clues start the investigation. They never finish it.
